You can carry multiple stories at once, such as those related to your self-esteem, abilities, relationships, and work.
Narrative therapy is a useful approach in the treatment of depression since it allows the person to ‘re-author” his/her life stories by focusing on positive interpretations, and focus on positive emotions is a crucial component of treatment for depression (20).
